SMS consent disclosure

This page reproduces, word for word, the consent disclosure Kinloop shows a caregiver before it may send text messages to a care recipient. It is published so that mobile carriers and messaging providers can review our opt-in language without needing an account.

Consent language version: v2 · Operated by sistemafusion, LLC (Kinloop)

What Kinloop sends and to whom

Kinloop is a paid subscription care-monitoring service. A caregiver enrols a family member — the care recipient — and configures a check-in schedule. Kinloop then sends that care recipient automated check-in text messages and replies to their responses, and alerts the caregiver and designated emergency contacts if help is requested or check-ins are missed. Kinloop never sends marketing or promotional text messages.

This page is evidence, not an enrolment form

  • Viewing this page does not opt anyone in to text messages.
  • No one is enrolled by visiting, reading, or sharing this page.
  • This page collects nothing: it has no form, no submit action, and does not record consent.
  • Consent is given by the caregiver, acting as the care recipient’s authorized representative, inside Kinloop’s authenticated web forms listed below.
  • Kinloop does not use text-message keywords as an enrolment method. Replying to a check-in message is a response to an existing subscription, not a new opt-in.

The disclosure shown before consent is given

The text below is rendered from the same source the live consent forms use. Where the live form substitutes the care recipient’s name and mobile number, this page shows a placeholder.

Program volume: up to 6 scheduled check-in messages per care recipient per day, each of which may produce one automated acknowledgment — up to 12 messages per day for the scheduled exchange. A one-time welcome message and event-driven assistance, safety, escalation and delivery messages may be sent in addition.

SMS consent

Kinloop will send automated check-in text messages to [care recipient’s name] at [care recipient’s mobile number]. These are service messages about their medication routine and wellbeing — never marketing.

You choose the schedule: up to 6 check-in texts per day. Kinloop also replies to each response, sends a one-time welcome text, and sends alert texts if they ask for help.

Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or fail due to carrier filtering, phone availability, or network conditions.

[care recipient’s name] can reply STOP at any time to stop all messages. They can reply HELP if they need assistance — Kinloop will alert their caregiver and emergency contacts.

Kinloop is not an emergency service and does not contact or dispatch emergency responders.

Message content is general and does not include diagnoses or Protected Health Information (PHI) in the message body.

Because [care recipient’s name] is not the account holder, you are giving this consent as their authorized representative.

What the caregiver sees

Below is the consent step of the enrollment form, reproduced exactly as a caregiver sees it. The wording is generated from the same source as the live form, so it cannot differ. Both checkboxes start unchecked; the walkthrough shows the caregiver ticking each one in turn, then returns to the unchecked default.

Both checkboxes are unchecked by default and the form cannot be submitted until both are ticked:

Sample data. “Ruth” and “Marcus” are invented and the number is not in service — no real care recipient appears here.

Both boxes unchecked — this is how the form loads

SMS consent

Before we send any texts, we need your authorization on behalf of Ruth.

What Ruth will receive

Messages are short and generic — they never mention medications, diagnoses, or health details by name.

Please tell Ruth before you continue

Ruth will start receiving daily texts from an unfamiliar number. A quick heads-up prevents the messages from being ignored, deleted as spam, or causing unnecessary worry.

  • Tell them you’re setting up a daily medication check-in service called Kinloop
  • Explain they just need to reply YES, NO, or HELP
  • Let them know the first text will be a welcome message explaining everything

I am authorized to consent on behalf of Ruth and I agree that Kinloop may send automated check-in text messages to +1 555 010 4477. I understand that message and data rates may apply, that Ruth can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and that Kinloop is not an emergency service.

SMS consent is required to activate daily check-ins.

I have spoken with Ruth and they know to expect daily Kinloop check-in texts.

How consent is actually collected

Kinloop has exactly two enrolment paths, both authenticated web forms:

  1. Caregiver onboardinghttps://kinloop.co/onboarding
Completed during paid signup, when the caregiver enrols their first care recipient.
  2. Add a care recipienthttps://kinloop.co/dashboard/add-recipient
Used by an existing caregiver to enrol an additional care recipient.

Both forms require an authenticated caregiver account, which is why they cannot be opened by a reviewer — that is the reason this page exists. Alongside the consent flag, Kinloop records the date consent was given, the IP address it was given from, the version of the disclosure shown, and which caregiver gave it.
