Kinloop is built around one simple idea: your loved one gets a daily text, they reply with one word, and you know what happened. When they don’t reply — or when they need help — you’re notified immediately.
From your caregiver account, you enter your loved one’s phone number and set the time you want them to receive their daily check-in. You can schedule up to 6 check-ins per day — one for each medication or dose if needed.
You also set who gets notified and when: yourself, other family members, or anyone else you want in the loop.
Your loved one doesn’t need to do anything to set this up.
At the time you scheduled, your loved one receives a short SMS message:
That’s it. There’s no app to open, no passcode to enter, no internet connection needed. Works on any phone that can receive texts — including basic cell phones and flip phones. They reply with one word.
The moment your loved one replies, your dashboard updates. Each check-in shows as green (YES), yellow (NO or no response yet), or flagged (missed past the alert window).
If you don’t have time to check the dashboard, that’s fine — you’ll receive an SMS alert the moment something needs your attention.
If your loved one doesn’t reply within a window you control, Kinloop flags the check-in and sends an SMS alert to you and every emergency contact you’ve added (up to 10 people).
You can set the sensitivity: alert after one missed check-in, or wait for a pattern before notifying.
Kinloop doesn’t assume silence means everything is fine.
Kinloop is not an emergency service. If your loved one is in danger, call 911 first. But if your loved one replies HELP, here’s exactly what happens:
Every Sunday, a report is ready in your dashboard. It includes:
On Premium and Concierge plans, a care coordinator reads the report before it reaches you. You can share the report with a doctor or family member using a secure link.
A short daily text. One reply. Nothing else from Kinloop.
No marketing messages. No app to learn. No account to manage. No disruption to their routine beyond a brief daily text they were already told to expect.
If they ever want to stop receiving messages, they can reply STOP at any time. You’ll be notified immediately.
Takes about 5 minutes. Your loved one receives their first check-in the next morning.
